Shame we never went for him when the goal was an instant return to the PL last season, instead of Ramsey. I believe he would have gotten us up.

Its become a bit of a tradition watching Derby cock up the playoffs, Pearson may ruin the fun for the rest of us

It will end in tears, mark my words. I almost feel for Derby, almost.
Horrible person, can't stress how glad I am we never went down that route. I'd be embarrassed if we employed that type of manager, I like to think we're better than that.
Not saying we've been very good at our appointments in recent times, bar Warnocks first tenure we've been **** at it, but it's what Pearson represent I can't stand.

What does he represent Norway? I remember him winning this league with Leicester a couple of years ago.

Our season was pretty much over once CR was made permanent, we should have been there/thereabouts if gone for the right man but that's not our way unfortunately.

The sad thing is about Ramsey was i kept saying he wasn't good enough and many posters said let him have a season as it wasn't his team. I am hearing the same thing now about JFH. I really hope i am completely wrong this time as it will only hurt our club even more.

Agree mostly Ellers. JFH has some qualification for the job in that he won league 2 with Burton. Ramsey wasn't nearly qualified enough for the job.

What does he represent apart from success?
I thought/ think we should have kept Colin about 5 seasons ago, Ramsey and now Jimmy. They all need and deserve(d) more time. All 3 did/ are doing OK, Colin more than OK. Though Watford's success indicates we should hire and fire every month or so until one gets a few wins on the run, I think a decent Manager needs more time.

Ok, so Newcastle go back up,
Derby are also assured promotion ..... So that leaves us chasing for the third spot, right then.

Spot on post. Can the next sacking be Tony Fernandes please? Watford have been lucky. Lunatic owners - like Flavio and Cellini at Leeds. Yet somehow their team has survived the turmoil. I'll be amazed if they manage to survive the dreaded second season.

Before any mentions FFP, there is nothing to abide by, I don't see Derby or Hull following those rules, the only reason we are is because Fernandes is skint.
