Ballotelli coming back. Like a new player. But totally unwanted and the manager desperate to get rid. Easy to say we knew this would end in tears, even without the benefit of retrospection. A gamble too far.
I'd almost agree.. I can see the squad ****ing off to US for preseason and leaving him behind with U21s or whatever is here to piss about. I can't see him give 3 sessions a day in us without his hangers on and smile.
I mean what would it cost 6.5 million or so..like buying a **** player without having to get rid of him later.....oh wait! But seriously...this summer is about correcting the mistakes of the last management team/s...if we sell Benteke for low to mid twenty million we'll lose about the same... Just got to suck it up. Don't want him to be any part of this summers story.
I dunno how long he has left.. 90 or 100k per week x 2 or 3 years?? That amount seems low to me. The question is really is there anyone stupid enough to take him on a free.
I heard a rumour today Apparently we had agreed terms with gotze camp on 175k per week wage prior to him sacking his agents and getting new representation with family etc anyone else heard anything? It seems Bayern have to him no actually we really don't think you will play so He could well be running down a contract here. Obviously the no CL football made his mind up so frankly LFc dodged a bullet there... he might be tops but not the attitude so wonder where he will end up... not barca or real so that leaves city.. he would seem to be to be a pep player.
Liverpool face competition for Schalke winger TalkSPORT state the Reds will have to stave off competition from Bayern Munich if they are to capture Schalke winger Leroy Sane, according to reports in Germany. Reds target Gotze warned about Bayern role The Liverpool Echo report Bayern Munich CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has hinted that Liverpool target Mario Gotze will have to settle for a place on the bench after the forward seemingly decided to stay with the club. Gotze must evaluate own future, say Bayern Munich According to Sky Sports Bayern Munich say Gotze will have to decide for himself whether he wants to move away from the club.
gotze story: Bayern Munich CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has hinted that Liverpool target Mario Gotze will have to settle for a place on the bench after the forward seemingly decided to stay with the club. The 23-year-old was a £20m target for Jurgen Klopp this summer, but Gotze appeared to commit his future to the Bundesliga champions on Monday, saying he wanted to prove himself to new manager Carlo Ancelotti. But in an interview with Kicker magazine, Rummenigge hinted that Gotze would once again find himself fighting for a place in the starting line-up. Gotze has found it difficult to break into the first XI since moving to Munich from Dortmund in 2013. “I had talks with him (Mario) and Ancelotti. Mario knows the thoughts of Bayern,” Rummenigge said. “Everything was clearly and seriously explained to Mario. “He knows what the club thinks and what the new coach thinks. Mario has to evaluate for himself whether he wants to play constantly.” Liverpool had hoped to persuade Gotze to swap the Allianz for Anfield this summer, but Germany manager Joachim Low revealed at a press conference on Wednesday that a ‘long talk’ with Ancelotti, who replaces Pep Guardiola at Bayern, convinced Gotze to stay put. “I’ve been in constant contact with Mario and he’s kept me informed all the time,” Low said. “He’s had a long talk with Ancelotti and I think a few falsities were said about that, but a coach can never give a guarantee and he told Mario that everybody starts from scratch from the start of the season under him. “Mario has had offers, but I always felt he is in Munich with his heart and he wants to prove himself there. “He told me he wants to stay in Munich and take his chance with the new coach and I think that’s a fine decision because it’s what his feeling tells him to do, so it’s the right decision for him.” ...... so Low tells us one thing and rummenigge tells us another. the only fact we know is he's 13 months of contract left and we can surmise from all of this what we will....
yup... but then... who had pep instead? thats the question. he played 27 league games then 32 beofre last seasons 14... so... given he pulled a hamstring and missed 3 months or more of the season (missed 17 games).. did pep hate him or not... I think a bit deeper of a dig is needed in that one. Pepe had costa, muller and robben/ribery.. well... its not quite as "good" as sterling and navas is it? I don't buy the pep didn't like him stuff there was clear reasons why he played and did not play as well.. I could see city pick him up for a steal at 20mil
Did he not sign a 3 year deal in August 14? So 2 years up this August, one year left. I read he was on 125k somewhere so..even adding June and july that's what 7.5M? Still worth it. As for clubs taking him...**** him..he can open a dog sanctuary for all I care...
i dunno.. I'll google...... http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...l-16million-AC-Milan-three-year-contract.html you are right 3 years. it says 125k per week.. which i think is high and was dependent on performance. 90k? so 90kx52 = 4.68mil.. so if by july 1 he's not moved then fine.. I could see him try hang aorund til aug 1 to force us pay the full wage but i can see him on gardening duty. some idiot italian side will take him. his career is just baout over right now though.. he really is that stupid.
that would be nice.. we could take in 5mil then pay 2.5mil of it towards the inevitable wage bill he'd refuse to move unless he gets and the problem is solved I wish..
Agree with the sentiment but we can get a better financial deal than that. Even if it means is paying 50% of his washes for the reminder of his contact whilst he's playing elsewhere. IMO someone will want him.
