One can understand your lack of sensitivity toward taking the subject on . If not for money to retain players with wages and adding to that squad , " Sir Mickey Mouse " would not have won over half the Premier League titles . The seasons before the Premier League that Ferguson was in charge was twice as bad as LVG ever was , bottom half of the table half the time .. Not a lot to show for it either . If not for the FACup win by Fergie , it would have been someone else in charge winning the titles with the money . Money not manager was the name of that tune
Yes they had a good time thanks. They were particularly interested in the punch up in the tier above us.
I did, and you inferred that money would always win out in the long term. Given the hugely increased amount of money in the game, I don't believe that's necessarily so. He who spends wisely and manages efficiently will win...
Yea, we massively outspent them by a net average of £30896 per season. While in the last 3 seasons alone they spent around £215m more on wages.
We didn't spend wisely, or choose managers wisely in the past. I think, hope, that has been resolved now.
We can only hope...... personally i'd settle for any london club to stop the mancs next season. Just can't see it at the moment, though its early days yet.
They're both in transition with new managers, and most likely, more new players. I wouldn't like to predict next season right now...lots of changes going on...
You're a decent enough poster ex roofer but you really do need to get a life. Every debate twists and turns into the same broken record with you. It's a sport fella, stop clinging on to tired old bitter petty ****e and move on.
He's won you the FA Cup. It's arrogant of you to believe that another manager is going to waltz in and better that. You may look back on LVG's reign and realise that, in fact, he's a club legend. Not wumming, just saying.
