Top-notch quizzing, Mega M-Man. <magic> :)

As it's a Scottish football quiz, there can be no other prize than this superb Birds of Australia word search puzzle. Enjoy!

An illegitimate child, I was born in London during the late 1920s
I spent time at a borstal before becoming a messenger boy on Fleet Street
I once got the sack after implying that a foreign politician had worked as a communist spy
I made numerous TV and radio shows for the BBC despite suing them (unsuccessfully) for libel

The child of a soldier, I was born in Yorkshire during the WW1 years
I failed an audition for RADA and instead took to entertaining troops during WW2
I appeared in two Carry On films, acted alongside Steve Martin and George Burns, and regularly took LSD to overcome depression
One of my former homes is now a tourist attraction and hosts concerts in the summer

An only child, I was born in the north-east of England during the WW2 years
I attended the Italia Conti Academy, appeared on TV with Sammy Davis Jr, and reached No.1 in the UK singles chart
I once refused to perform a script because it criticised a former UK prime minister I had staunchly supported
I was married four times but never had children, and I finally succumbed to a third bout of cancer

I was born in Dumbarton in the late 1880s
I played for both Rangers and Celtic and was part of Newcastle United's last championship winning side
I went on to manage Manchester United between stints at Hamilton, Cowdenbeath and Ipswich
My great grandsons hung around with Scan, before Scan ran them out of town in 2013
