A lot of WUMs and juvenile delinquents that have been blighting 606 at times will be like kids in a sweet shop when they first come on here. With no mods to keep an eye on their moronic posts, and with the ability to use obscene language, just for the sake of it, I expect a growing number of pointless, expletive filled insults by "fans" on the boards of rival teams to blight not606 for a while until they get board with it. As some-one who likes to partake in proper discussion, and also a bit of friendly banter with Saints fans, I'm thankful for the swear filter, as I prefer to take part in discussions that are above the level of the gutter. A quick question [or request] to the administrators: Is it possible [if not, could it be made possible] for the author of a thread to delete a comment made by some-one on his thread?
btw we are slowly getting the boards under control with moderators who should hopefully cut most of the blatant wummey out.
Mick Lets hope the mods dont get all power crazy like before.Would It not be better to have a wee report button or something to highlight knobs ?
there is a wee report button, you knob The worst thing about 606 was the mods and the WUMs, going to have to find a balance between both.
Hers an idea. Anyone who comes on complaining about language or wums or who states that they are intent on serious debate/discussion should be told to **** RIGHT OFF Anyhows ya mad pikey ****. Can i be a mod ?
I am a mod on the Manchester City forum, MalteseMick has given instruction on how he wants the boards moderated and basically he says not to get heavy handed, i am sure if mods abuse their power (i hate that word) then they will not last long as moderators.
