I recognise some of these lasses, I reckon they would crush the balls of any bloke being lippy to them (especially the goalie) :cheesy:

I swear, when I'm watching a game on Sky and the camera shows a close-up of the crowd, it's often more entertaining than the game to pause and have a butchers at the people in the crowd. Can't beat a bit of people watching :cheesy:

Were Sunderland Ladies not formed by combining some Newcastle, Northumberland and Sunderland teams? Kestrels etc?

Maybe I have that wrong. If not we claim our equal share of the credit for the victory.

Not down with the disrespecting of womens football. Very prehistoric thinking lads. This is why women are held back in society. These bitches try damn hard...

No that's about right as far as i know. Blyth Spartans Kestrels, East Durham Houghall Kestrels and Sunderland Ladies were combined to form Sunderland AFC Ladies in 1999.

Think it was Cowgate Kestrels too who were considered the best North East womens team. Some canny rough areas around Cowgate, I'd imagine intimidation was a strong suit <laugh> It was like when we had to play Robin Hood from North Shields on a Sunday. Loads of our lightly framed lads would be burrowing channels down the middle of the pitch "Steve you're a ****ing winger, what you doing in here!" <laugh>

Amazing you people talk so much about the Premier League cup and do not recognise it when you see it , it is awarded to the team that wins the premier league title

I thought the fact it was photoshopped was obvious, a proper job would take at least ten times as long

Is it a prerequisite to be a Newcastle supporter you must include an insult in any reply ?
