Around the time I used to go down and watch them I remember Alec Chamberlain being in goal used to scare the **** out of me. Not due to his shot stopping ability but mainly due to his kicking (he did well if he cleared the half way line). It was around the time when the back pass law came into effect as well! Scary!

Altidore, absolutely terrible player for us. One goal in over forty games is a record so bad there isn't a word strong enough to describe it.

The only other good thing that he gets credited with was a nice lay off, for Colback I think it was, in a derby but having seen a replay several times I'm 99% certain it was a lucky miscontrol. He made Kevin Kyle look like Messi.

Considering the amount we paid for him and his wages: Jozy Altidore

Honourable mention to Danny Graham.

****ing useless the pair of them.

The miscontrolled lay off was to Borini

Hated Paul Bracewell (second time around) too. Don't remember his first stint but have been told he was decent.

---------------- Kelvin Davis ------------------

Hall - Nosworthy - R Anderson - Dossena

O'Donovan - Whitley - Cunnington - Aiston

-------------- Altidore - Angell ---------------

Now, a legend in his own mind. i recall a marauding run or two down the right wing. more than Hall ever did, not convinced he knew which side of the white line to stand on.
so pretty much the team from 10 years ago then, Haggis?
