I see Tobes turning down all these managers and so far has only mentioned Mourinho as a choice as a Everton fan (Mourinho isn't going to happen btw). Question is who realistically do they expect or want? (I stress the realistically) Personally with De Boer leaving Ajax today I put Tobes house on it.
Have you seen his house ?! It's a bit of a coincidence he leaves Ajax on the day Bobby M takes the bullet ... bookmakers have been accurate on managers recently, had Klopp as nailed on for us and that happened If I was a BS I'd be hoping for Koeman, de Boer or Benitez, they need a slightly older guy, perhaps still youngish for a manager and with good experience (OK Rafa is not that young but he's Rafa), not a young manager with potential like Eddie Howe who I heard on the radio being discussed for it which is ridiculous, Bobby from the block was that though he's not so young and not so full of potential so that was a fail Mourinho won't go near them Will San Pellegrino still be alive come August ?? ... doesn't matter he's a facking zambie !! Hughes is ****e and just wants to eat Greggs every day with his old pal Steve Bruce Di Matteo is too much of a gamble, either was a genius or got v lucky that one season with the Chavs AVB is ****e ****e ****e, all style and designer rain macs and no clue, which is why he's out in the Siberian wastelands taking whatever he can get and hypothermia Pearson naaaaaaaaaaah, just nah Would Flores improve them given where Watford are this season, them and BS on 44pts ?? Maybe with a better squad at Everton ... is it a better squad at Everton ?! Low and Bielsa are unknown quantities both never having managed in the Prem, Low not outside Germany and Bielsa is very Spanish/S America focused
Koeman Nothing wrong with him like, but hardly the top calibre manager Tobes said would have us #choking
My prefered option tbh...unless Maureen wants a crack cant see that happening though... Whoever gets it is going to get a nice budget so happy days as long as brown shoes doesnt get to spend it.... and yes that will probably include the sale money from Lukaku,Stones and Berkley to save you replying with that lol
So as a minimum the new manager would need to replace; Lukaku (top scorer) Barkley (2nd top scorer) Stones (easily done) Hibbert Gibson Pienaar Osman Howard
Hibbert, Gibson, Ossie barely played all season, and Howard is absolute mince now - So 3 squad players and a ****e keeper #noloss Barkley will stay imo. Stones and Lukaku will fetch £90-100m the pair. I'm sure we replace them with that like..... You think both are #****e anyway, so an upgrade can't be that hard eh.........
Devastated that Klopp has drawn some games (and even lost one) on his way to a European final mate #devastated
I don't think anyone on that list is worth worrying about losing, Barkley would be the best to keep The new manager is going to be effectively buying a new spine so he won't be able to whinge about it not being his squad I think there's a very good chance you'll keep Stones as you won't want to be seen to accept less than £25m after turning down £30m
Flores has confirmed that he'll be leaving Watford at the end of the season. Flores to Everton and Martinez to Watford?
Whats your thoughts on your squad then mate and your predictions for your team next season... Only asking as we never hear you talk about Liverpool much probably 40% Everton 40% Man Utd 9.9% other crap and maybe 1% Liverpool lol
Our squad needs a significant clearout although mostly it's not the starting XI so the transition won't be bad Next season we could have CL, EL, or no European football so all I can say at this point is top 4 is #nailedon
You have a decent keeper (prem standard at least), no defenders worth mentioning same for midfielders and a good front 3/4. What do you call "mostly" first XI?
