Match Day Thread Canaries V Hornets

Fabulous to see mikey again.

Just when things seemed a little desperate, I'm reminded of that shower of scheiss from Essex plying their trade in Division 4 next season in front of 3,000 people.

Suddenly things don't seem so bad.

Yeah they spanked us 5-1, our caretaker manager had a nervous breakdown in the post match interview and went off sick for the rest of the season, apart from that we had a ball at the Pirelli! Just imagine what they're going to do to a tin-pot team like Norwich City... <monster><monster><monster>

And here I was thinking Pompey fans were dumb.

And hey Norwich, try spending some proper money next time you're promoted.

I'm home safe and sound, and proud to say as part of my work with Interpol we were able to intercept this mobile brothel destined for Colchester.

Unlucky lads.

I know its early to be asking but do you think you'll be likely to go straight back up? I reckon Newcastle will be too good for champ next season but Villa could be lucky to survive double relegations. You guys I reckon will be harder to pick.

Lets see who comes and goes Josh but my early thoughts are that we probably will accept nothing less than the play-offs but then it's the same for maybe 10 - 12 teams :emoticon-0148-yes: (Leeds included?)

Supposedly this is the year that we will get promoted (according to Cellino), no one is believing though, we're a right mess at the moment. He has even offered 25% refunds on season tickets if we don't make play-offs and 50% back if more than 15,000 are sold. Problem with that is no one believes he's gonna keep his promise if we don't make the play-offs.

Can you see many players being sold from your squad?

God bless Cellino, a man of great honour <laugh>

Tough one to answer mate but there will be several leaving I am sure.
Mbokani is believed to be off now we are down (shame as I think he would murder the Championship)
Klose may leave but hopefully not.

The problem is that we possibly have a squad good enough for promotion but for me that is not enough, we need more of a PL team in place to make competing at the top level less of a transition.

Jerome is a perfect example, he is great in the Championship but a donkey in the PL and too many of our team is the same. Mulumbu, Dorrans, Whittaker, Bassong, Martin to name a few.

Yes, I enjoyed the game last night, apart from Martin's howler to gift Watford their first goal.
Player ratings from the Daily Fail - Ruddy 6; Pinto 6, Martin 5, Bennett 5, Olsson 6; Redmond 8.5 (Jarvis 80), Dorrans 6.5, O’Neil 6, Hoolahan 7 (Brady 72 6); Naismith 7 (Odjidja 81), Mbokani 7.5.
ILD - I see Redmond got MotM!!! <laugh>.
Hopefully he's trying to increase his value in the transfer window and go somewhere other than the Potteries!!!
I'd like to see him go somewhere like Leicester if they lose the likes of Mahrez and I'm sure we could see him develop his full potential there.
