Congratulation's mate. I'm from Southwick also and I don't believe it deserve's alot of it's reputation ( bar a few idiot's ).
My thought's are with your neice, hope she make's a full recovery.

cheers derry it means a lot to me all these posts of encouragement, i appreciate every single 1 of them, had some bad news this week with my neice being diagnose with cervical cancer(she's only in her mid 20s), and has knocked us all for 6, hopefully with lots of luck they've caught it in time, so this has been a big plus for my family(i know it's seaham red star and not man utd), anyway thanks lads hopefully safc can get off to a good start to the season and sign 1 or 2 more quality players. ktf

My thoughts/prayers are with you and your extended family. As for it only being seaham red star, wasn't Super Kevin Phillips stacking selfs somwhere before he got his chance?

That bloody 'C' word is all I seem to be hearing lately...I've had a very good friend's wife who recently died, another friend's wife who has had her breast removed but hopefully now ok and a really top bloke from where I work who has just been informed that he is beyond help...It's just so damned indiscriminate, and my thoughts go out to all concerned regarding your niece: Good luck mate..

I think you hit the nail on the head when you described this site as a community...I think that anyone who doubts the merits of the internet in creating a sense of community would do well to study how this site creates a sense of real community spirit in the way we support one another in times of need.
