Out of town
I was just looking at the teams we will be playing next season. I can't see any big clubs in there. Every team looks a bit average, other than Sheffield who never seem to live up to their potential and of course Portsmouth..............

Here is the list of teams in league 1 next season. 20 teams known, 4 yet to be determined following the play offs...

Bolton
Bristol Rovers
Bury
Charlton
Chesterfield
Coventry
Fleetwood
Gillingham
MK Dons
Northampton
Oldham
Oxford
Peterborough
Port Vale
Rochdale
Scunthorpe
Sheff Utd
Shrewsbury
Southend
Swindon

3 losers in the league 1 play offs out of these 4 teams will join us...
Barnsley
Bradford
Millwall
Walsall

The league 2 play off winner will join us out of...
Accrington
Plymouth
Portsmouth
Wimbledon

L1 is not a massive leap from L2.
With a promotion 'bounce' allied with your fan base and decent budget I think you will have a very good season.

Hopefully both clubs will have good season and if you hang in there for another season we can both go up together

I hope you are right about us but at the same time I think another promotion would happen too soon for us. That must sound stupid to everyone here but I dont think we are ready for Championship football. I think really aiming for around mid table 10th-15th would be a great achievement for us. My opinion could change though depending on what players we have at the start of the season.

I said in a different thread, I think City will do alright if they can sign that Tomlin and the other loanee's that has done well for you. A few other good signings on top of that, I would be surprised if City are bottom half of the table come the end of next season.

If city can make one or two quality signings plus the loan signings they have at present they should be looking for a playoff place

Rickie Lambert not to happy about his playing time at WBA according to the press earlier in the week wonder if we could get him on loan for the season
