Just wondering what your thoughts are on this:
Caulker has spent roughly last 9 months sitting on his jacksie picking up a decent salary - nice work if you can get it.
However, whilst the money may seem important, he has in effect wasted a year of his career.
Do you think that if he came back, under JFH he would buckle done and start to earn his salary or whether JFH would sell?
I would personally like him to perform at his best to prove he is a decent player, then at least he would be in the papers for the right reasons making it to sell on in January or next summer.

Who would buy him? His only proper defensive appearance was when Southampton got slaughtered 6-1 by Liverpool and he got taken apart. He just seems to have been over-rated and we are the mugs that gave him a silly contract. Another two years of easy money isn't going to solve our problem...

I think we should start our own Dr Frankenstein's lab:

Steven Caulkers body on Clint Hill's head
Armand Traore's body on Ale Faurlin's head
Jamie Mackie's enthusiasm crossed with Adel Taarabt's natural talent
A Trappist monk's volume on Tony Fernandes' twitter account
Neil Warnock's body on Neil Warnock's head (to appease Ted)

One of my few away games at Hull and all I can see is Caulker heading the ball back into the centre for Jelavic to strike home.
Might improve a little under JFH but not much I fear.

If we are unable to offload him surely he can do a job for us in the championship. He cannot be that ****, can he???

I have been pretty annoyed with him in the past but, if I'm honest, he could do well if he played amongst three good, confident and stable defenders. But, he is not a leader and if the confidence is not high around him he falls to pieces. Therefore he's not worth it and perhaps should be playing at League 1 level?

I DONT KNOW THE INSIDE STORY BUT I IMAGINE HES GOT LOADS OF MONEY AND LOADS OF DRINK AND LOADS OF WOMEN AND HES FOLLOWING IN CLARKE CARLISE FOOTSTEPS WHAT A WASTE OF THIS BODY BEAUTIFULL SUPERSTAR
EVEN IF WE COULD GET TWO MILLION FOR HIM THAT MONEY COULD BE RE INVESTED IN PLAYERS LIKE ROOFE FROM OXFORD

Ted,

For someone who is so critical of managers without experience and lower league players who have not earned a reputation in your eyes what is it precisely that you have seen that makes Kemar Roofe the player who will turn us around?

Thanks for the comments. I am just hoping he has realised he has wasted a year of his career and that he needs to buck his ideas up. Cannot see him going for £2 mill - for me a lot less, especially as he hasn't proved himself in the last 12 months

yorkshire hoopster ive given you a like for that comment and this is my responce well when we had 21 year old rodney marsh to us he was a god and we used to get erosole spray and spray everywhere up with
SIR RODNEY MARSH
he was our king and true enough in one season he hit 44 goals recently i was in oxford so i stopped off for a soft drink in a pub
AND I COULDNT BELIEVE HOW ALL THE TALK WAS WE CANT KEEP HIM HES ABSOLUTELY A SUPERSTAR HE IS OXFORD UNITED
so ive gone on you tube and looked at his dribbling skills and prolific goalscoring have convinced me at the right price players can be introduced into our squad
TREVOR FRANCIS ACTUALLY SAID HE BOUGHT ANDY SINTON BECAUSE THERE FANS KEPT RAVING ON ABOUT HIM
so thats it really when i started to promote harry redknap 6 months before he jopined qpr i knew harry would get us up but ive got to admit some of his purchases seemed massively over priced but as ive always said the sale of loic remy destroyed qpr i think if we had kept remy and austin we may well have stayed up
I AM A BIG CRITTIC OF FERDINAND MOST OF HIS PURCHASES HAVE UNDER PERFORMED NOT ALL MANAGERS HAVE THE CAPABILLITES TO BUY BRILLIANT YOUNGSTERS TOMMY DOCHERTY HAD THE GIFT JIM SMITH HAD THE GIFT BUT
im amazed that so many qpr fans are backing les simply because he was the greatest ever player to ever play for qpr
which is a fact that knowbody can deny
but bobby charlton bobby moore are three failed managers and many great players dont even go down the management route
SO THATS MY REPLY PLEASE FEEL FREE TO ENGAGE IN CONVERSATION BECAUSE I THINK THIS IS THE REAL REASON WHY WE WILL PROBABLEY DROP
EVEN HOLLOWAY COULD MAYBE SAVE OUR CLUB

I know a life long Oxford fan so will hear what he has to say about him. If he agrees with you, I might just jump on to your bandwagon. By the way, you don't mention Hasselbaink at all. He is the manager and the last few players bought have been his. As for Sir Les, you are right not to give him your support simply because he was one of our best players. Don't agree he was the best - that honour must surely go to any one of three who played for us in the 75/76 season namely Stan Bowles, Gerry Francis and Dave Thomas.

He has certainly not been inspired yet but I agree with his analysis of where we went wrong in the last few years and therefore his vision for the future. On that basis alone I am happy to give him time and support to get it right over the next couple of years so that the next time we go up we manage to stay there.

IM GOING TO GIVE YOU ANOTHER LIKE YORKSHIRE HOOP,I WATCHED EVERY HOME GAME OF THAT GERRYFRANCIS STAN BOLWES AND DAVE THOMAS TEAM SO I AGREE THEY WRE BRILLIANT,BUT THE REASON I GIVE IT TO LES IS BECAUSE,IN TERMS OF GOALSCORING HE WAS OUR HIGHEST EVER ON APPS AND GOALS RATIO IN THE PREM I REMEMBER STAN ONCE HAVING AN APALING SEASON I THINK HE ONLY GOT 4 OR 6 IN THE WHOLE SEASON AND GIVENS DID THE SAME
BUT THAT WAS GREAT TIMES IN OUR HISTORY BUT THAT NORWICH AWAY GAME BROKE MY HEART I WAS SO VERY VERY SURE WE WOULD WIN
WHAT HAPPENED LOOKING BACK ON THE GAME IT LOOKS LIKE THERE FIRST GOAL WAS PARKES FAULT BUT THERES NO POINT IN CONJECTURE NOW

We've got to stop this love in. The Forum will start to talk about us. Not to mention that bloody off side goal. I remember it well. Big Phil was a star throughout his career with us until the run in when he seemed to dive over the ball time after time. And yet even though that Norwich game took it out of our hands we still looked as though we might do it as we turned it around and deserved to win the title by grinding out wins for the remaining few games. We were the people's champions then and everybody's second favourite team because of the way we played. When if ever has the title changed hands 10 days after the Cup Final with 14 minutes left?

Tear wiped away and back to the serious stuff. That team took 3-4 years to build and peak. And that is precisely where we went wrong under Fernandes. Even Citeh with their owners took 4 years to get to their promised land building each year. Although Chelsea did it immediately under Mourinho, don't forget that successive managers culminating in Ranieri's three year spell laid the foundations for their success.

Then we had Hughes and Redknapp and wide boy Tony to take over from Fat Boy Orange and the billionaire dwarf. Progress eh. For a while we were rich. And completely despised. Reckon we got our comeuppance. Let's hope the good times come back soon and that everyone gets what they deserve.
