They've rejected the name and opted for RRS Sir David Attenborough. A great name but it's no Boaty. RIP Boaty.

Tbf, if Boaty McBoatface is the best thing they can seriously vote for then perhaps its just as well.
David Attenborough is the one I'd have gone for, but everyone had a harmless laugh.
by the way.. the new sunbathing bunny is a 6 month old rescue rabbit. How can anyone let that face go? We've had her four weeks now, spade and ready to start the arduous "bonding" tasks.

The RRS Sir David Attenborough will have a remotely operated submersible vehicle. And they have named this sub "Boaty McBoatface". An excellent compromise, well done to whoever thought of it.
