Apart from a couple of cocks, wums & trolls I don't anyone has said or thinks this. The vast majority see the scheme for what it is.
People can renew & still support any planned protests or be against the scheme.
Attempting to organise a blanket boycott would not only be near on impossible but could also work against organisers. Asking people to show they are against the scheme by holding up red cards or delaying joining up 'til the last minute is one thing, putting pressure on them not to go at all is another ball game altogether (Airplane joke). The last thing we need is another division between supporters.
I read yesterday that some people are planning on renewing today in order to protect their seats but are planning to cancel at the end of the cooling off period if nothing changes or the club don't open communications. This, for me is an excellent idea.
i think we should be getting the story out to as many people as possible. Writing letters asking for views & support. The trust are doing a wonderful job but we shouldn't be relying on them alone. Being proactive ourselves can be just as useful. 50 letters from supporters to your local MP is worth more than one from the Trust. Sponsors, newspapers, The FA, Foorball League & their sponsors. Pick up on their ads featuring kids & oldies then add comments or mention them in letters. Be relentless.
There's lots we can be doing, the more people are aware of the situation the better.
The scheme is already failing. We can highlight all it's misgivings & help along the way but ultimately it will defeat itself.

I thinks AA f'ked labour off a while back. Something to do with their connections with the unions! If I remember rightly.
I can, but if we get promoted I see it as the end of the campaign as we all drift away. The standard price will be here to stay and we will have lost. I respect what you and the others are doing I just don't agree with it. I believe opposition to the scheme has to continue after this season and continue in the ground. Our strength, as supporters, is inside the KC.
I believe it is only a small minority saying great, sod the kids and the old folks. I would say the majority who renew oppose the scheme and hold their noses whilst signing up.

Yeah, it does seem stupid and I don't want to feel as i do but it is what it is.
You said yourself " I'm against the scheme and everything". Well, as long as the Allams are here you'll be constantly against their schemes because they will come out with one after another. If you're still happy to go watch City whilst under that cloud, pissed off, annoyed, angry, then fair do's.
But I can't do that. I won't sit in a place where I'm not wanted and am branded a hooligan for protesting against our owners hair brained schemes.
If we get promotion they won't sell. If we stay down they probably can't sell. But staying down with a drop in attendance might be a wake up call to them.
It's a rock and a hard place. I just want them out. No guarantees they'll ever leave either way. But I've nailed my colours.

The alternative to is not going up could be a club nobody wishes to buy and with less money coming in through the gates I can see the Allams asset stripping.
You're 100% right though. There's no guarantees either way. I'm not angry anymore, I'm past that and now I'm just gutted for everyone. To think of all the highs everyone shared in that ground together and how we all stood together through the ****e at Boothferry it's just upsetting that it has come to this.

I think they'll press on with the scheme regardless of division. They've displayed their contempt numerous times before and will do so again.

You're absolutely right, people can and should do what they want, I'd like to suggest though that any pressure felt is caused by a persons own conscience, everyone (apart from the ''I'm alright Jack'' types) knows that this ill conceived concept is wrong, some will wrestle with their conscience and sign up, others such as myself, will decide not to join - by not signing up I don't feel superior to anyone else and I'd certainly not try to pressurise anyone into not. That's not pressure you're feeling Putty, that's just your conscience pricking you
I don't think there will be any booing of fellow fans protesting over this issue so long as nobody is so stupid as to cause stoppage of a game.
