Well, I never expected that. Same pattern as last week with Villarreal putting in very little effort until the 75th min, this week it was far too late as they were already 2 goals and man down, weird tactics that.
Must say that now you are through I wish you the best of luck in the final and hope to see a good game.

Yeah. Was talking (pessimistically, it must be said) with a fellow Red in work last night. he said he hoped we'd finish in 8th if we went out 'Don't want the baggage of the Europa again this season' What baggage? The groups are (or should be) a doddle for the squad - even Stewart and Cevvychase in midfield shouldn't **** up. And the only 'hard' team we've faced this year is Dortmund. And, you have a chance of CL.

Of course, I'd prefer CL, but I'd gladly take this again if not. This, Dortmund, Uniturd... has all been beamed into houses around the world. **** prize money - there's young 'Pool fans being made all over the globe, and older ones getting their mojo back. Better than had we gone out of the CL in the last 16, for sure.

I hope we score early but the damage is already done for me so I won't be as disappointed if we fail. I think you will be though... thats seriously high expectations out of a midfield and defense we've ende dup with due to injuries.

Lord knows henderson, can and sahko are not world beaters but lucas allen and toure won't be scaring their players at all.

coutinho looked uncomfortable all half and now we need him to recover fully in 6 days... thats not ideal either.

its up hill for me and self inflicted too.. so if we smash them 3-0 i'll be way happy and you'll be... meh told you..... I think i'll prefer being whohoo hoo that n that.
