If I was Daniil i'd be too embarassed to turn up to the paddock in Spain. Feel bad for the guy, he did say 'I will be attacked for this'.
This could be detrimental for all three of them.
If Ricciardo wipes the floor with Max
If Max wipes the floor with Ricciardo
If Kvyat loses his confidence from now in.
No chance.
Kneejerk. Unbelievable.
tbh I'm surprised the FIA didn;t give him a one race ban, the second of the two was just, oh. He didn;t even react and, for the second race in a row, was completely oblivious to what was going on around him. When you watch the replay from his car it actually looks like an online racing punt, it's only at the last moment that he tries to make a move to the right. His reaction to Vettel lifting is non-existant, it was appallingly bad, as bad as Lewis hitting Kimi in the pitlane, and it was the second one in as many turns.
And from a racing teams point of view, what do you do? Keep the bloke who is driving badly and takin gout his team mate, or promote the guy that's showing the talent? Bellend isn't in F1 to win friends, he's in it to win championships. I don't think Kvyat has improved at all, and it's obvious that Verstappen has 'it', from a business/competition pov it's an obvious decision. And it's not like he's been sacked, he's been moved back to the junior team.
It's not April, right?
Not only is this typical of Red Bull and their absolute inability to handle any situation with tact and dignity, it also makes you question how they contract their drivers.
I'd expect each driver to have a contract with their respective teams, but apparently not... So are Red Bull running separate two car teams or is this four car outfit?
