If I was Daniil i'd be too embarassed to turn up to the paddock in Spain. Feel bad for the guy, he did say 'I will be attacked for this'.

    Agreed!

Marko is a bellend... I have nothing against Max, but I hope Danny Ric wipes the floor with him...
Danny K, after a poor start last year came good.. but for a double punt incident (China wasn't his fault) was going OK this year too!

This could be detrimental for all three of them.

If Ricciardo wipes the floor with Max
If Max wipes the floor with Ricciardo
If Kvyat loses his confidence from now in.

It could be detrimental to the whole grid if Kvyat goes full Grosjean into turn one next Sunday.

If it comes to a point where Max is behind Kvyat, I do hope Kvyat makes it hard for him to overtake...
If so, we'll most likely hear Max on the radio throwing his toys out of the cockpit!

My goodness, as much as I called Kyvyat a taxi driver, this is disgraceful from Marko and now we have the poser child driving a Red Bull- frightening.

I still think the TR overall is as good, if not a slightly better car than the Red Bull.

Kvyats future is in his hands now. How he plays it is his choice.

If Murray were still commentating "And unless I am very much mistaken..........oh, I am very much mistaken"

Yep, everyone will have a period where they go off form for a bit but that is no reason to demote him.

Lewis must be looking over his shoulder now. 4 starts, 4 times beaten by his teammate......... a swap with a certain Manor driver must be on the cards!

From a podium to a demotion for a couple of incidents a race later, madness. I suspect Red Bull were just after any excuse to drop him and get Verstappen moved up. I wonder how well the RB suits him, seeing as it wasn't developed with him in mind. They're about the same height at least, but driving style I don't know.

tbh I'm surprised the FIA didn;t give him a one race ban, the second of the two was just, oh. He didn;t even react and, for the second race in a row, was completely oblivious to what was going on around him. When you watch the replay from his car it actually looks like an online racing punt, it's only at the last moment that he tries to make a move to the right. His reaction to Vettel lifting is non-existant, it was appallingly bad, as bad as Lewis hitting Kimi in the pitlane, and it was the second one in as many turns.
And from a racing teams point of view, what do you do? Keep the bloke who is driving badly and takin gout his team mate, or promote the guy that's showing the talent? Bellend isn't in F1 to win friends, he's in it to win championships. I don't think Kvyat has improved at all, and it's obvious that Verstappen has 'it', from a business/competition pov it's an obvious decision. And it's not like he's been sacked, he's been moved back to the junior team.

WOW, that's crazy to be dropped like that, it's clear they see Max as their future and want to safe guard a move from a big team.

I can't see Kvyat having a drive next season unless he really impresses now.

I think all respect for Red Bull racing is now gone.

This should have happened at the end of the season without doubt.

    It's not April, right?

Not only is this typical of Red Bull and their absolute inability to handle any situation with tact and dignity, it also makes you question how they contract their drivers.

I'd expect each driver to have a contract with their respective teams, but apparently not... So are Red Bull running separate two car teams or is this four car outfit?

It does show again why RBR are disliked organisation. They way they go about their business stinks.
So Kvyat has a bit of a dodgy period (which inc a podium!) and gets fired by the main team.

Then again, what should we expect from a team manager who dumped his young child and wife for a washed out Spice Girl. Did she burn his dinner once so he decided to sleep with someone else?

What message is that sending out to the RBR academy drivers. Screw up and you're fired on the spot!?

This is why the Red Bull operation is disliked by most of the paddock and the fans. They have no respect for the sport, its competitors or anything to do with how they should go about racing.

I hope Kvyat goes out and beats them first time out with the Torro Rosso, or gets so pissed off he wipes them out completely.

Shocking behaviour by this 'champion' team.

JB tweeted his shock at the decision too..
Think he knows more about the in's and out's of F1 and is a better judge of driver than we ever will be..
He thought it was harsh and but the sounds of it, so do most of us..
Big Danny Kvyat fan from now on! (not Red Bull), hope he has a blinding season and goes on to be a WC before Max!
This stinks and I'm pissed about it!

HE HAS NOT BEEN SACKED he has been moved to the junior tea, he will still race in formula one, and is still being paid by the same people. And, let's not forget, he's been the cause of 3 accidents in 2 races. that's maldonado-esque.

I would also add, from a spectator point of view, I'd rather Verstappen in the RBR as he may threaten the front runners where Kvyat is a long way off.
