Looking forward to Tuesday night's clash with the mighty Chelsea who are hitting form again, this will be a massive test for us and a good indicator to see if we really have progressed to that (dare i say it) European level of football.

Hopefully we should have at least 2 new players in, Sessegnon & Muntari but i doubt if either will figure in the match, maybe Muntari might get a seat on the bench and get a late run out but i don't see how Sessegnon can be anywhere near fit enough.

If we set about the game with the same determination and resillience as we did against Blackpool we should be OK and i can see us scraping a 1-0 win but the back 4 need to be right on top of their game and another performance from Flash is needed as well.

Any thoughts? are we there yet? would we settle for a draw at home to one of the top 4?

Definitely settle for a draw!! Although I expect a good match with both sides up for it...

    Would take a point now.

Got that little gap to protect ourselves now and 2 points against Chelsea & the spuds would do me.
Tricky few games coming up but last half dozen or so all winnable. Just need to keep our confidence

Agree Malb but we will have (fingers crossed) 2 additional quality players on board by then so I think we can get something off the Spuds, my concern is injuries to Gyan, we are woefully thin up front and while Ricco did a fantastic job against Blackpool, he's no striker. We need to get someone in quick.

As we all know, it's going to be a very tough game. A resurgent Chelsea are going to come out all guns blazing, looking to avenge the home defeat that was inflicted on them. My heart is saying we're going to do the double over them, but my head says we could struggle to get a draw out of this one.

Ever the optimist I am going with my heart and predict that there will be a single goal in it...........1-0 to the lads!
