Well done, BB. They are the sizes of the 2 balls used in softball. OFH, I stated that it may be, not that it is. Also, it's not just 1 female on the diamond, the team has to be split equally in Jersey, although some places in the UK will allow 2 more men than women.
What the hell is Softball, is it like Futsal, Rugsal, Cricksal, Water Polo on sand, Skateboarding on snow, Extreme Knitting with Robson Geordie etc. etc.?
It's the sport of choice for Labour supporters. Tories, on the other hand, prefer to play Hardball - a game played fast & loose with other people's lives and money... Another quickie - which planet has never orbited the sun, and why?
As for the question, if I remember rightly from an episode of QI, technically the moon is a planet, so if that is what you're after, then the why is because it orbits another planet.
The Earth of course, which as every good Catholic knows is the centre of the universe with the sun revolving around it. Simple really.
Scientifically speaking all planets orbit around the centre of the mass of our solar system which is not the exact centre of the Sun itself - so we do not actually orbit the sun, at least not exactly. Is this getting close ?
Pluto has not orbited the Sun since the planet was discovered (and named) 248 years ago - it has obviously orbited the Sun at some stage but not as 'Pluto'.
