I think the most important thing that can be shown from Liverpool's two drubbings at the hand of inferior opposition, is that Liverpool's players outside the first team are fairly poor. You wouldn't have seen United lose like that in a preseason friendly against inferior opposition.

Thank you Muffin. That's the lady! Yes she did get treated very harshly. Sadly, that was the way with academia in those days. Second class citizens. She should have had a share of the prize as well

She did get awarded with a Nobel prize posthumously didn't she? Not to mention that little backstabber Maurice Wilkins that went behind Franklin's back to show Watson and Crick the crystallography pictures. Crickey, sounds like something out of Eastenders.

Do you think this thread is about banter between us and you? Can't you see that we're having a scientific discussion here. Yes Muffin. That was a dirty trick by Wilkins. We'll have to google franklin to see about the Nobel. As you saw in my earlier post, I gave her rep alongside the other two.

Fair enough, I just thought seen as this is the Man Utd and Liverpool banter thread, I'd try and convert it back to football banter rather than scientific banter. How do you fellas know so much about Science anyway...

Chickpea banged his head and started scoring for the opposition.
Well he wouldn't be the first..Roy Keane once scored for Real Madrid..well he always wanted to know what it was like to score for a big club.
