Conor Washington's touch seems to be as good as Polter's!

Washington is useless, I've just realised he has not yet scored for us. His last goal was for Peterborough in January!

let's be honest, if your team needed a result desperately, QPR would be a good choice for the opposition. Soft as the proverbial:frown:

At this point in time I have no expectation for next season other than more of the same. Jimmy Fraud doesn't strike me as particularly gifted, just a bit average as a manager. Once again the team needs wholesale changes that Fat Tony can't afford to bankroll, so I reckon there's 4-5 years in this division being no better than a Wolves or a Birmingham. All a bit miserable.

    Fair play to Burnley :emoticon-0167-beer:
They have done everything right while we have cocked up again.
This all started with letting Benny be the manager and we never stood a chance. Too many OAP wasters and players not wanting to play for us. TF sending out the wrong signals of promotion. JFH hasn't changed anything other than getting rid of experienced players and replacing them with a less quality.

Not moaning now as once again what's the point.

Some of the comments are a tad harsh.....thought we matched them and they are supposed to be one of the best 3 teams in the division.....Moss is a homer ref, how many times did their center halfs go right through the back of Polter with nothing given? Should have taken Phillips off instead of Hoilett, didn't realise he was still on the pitch until the last few minutes and kept Polter on with Washington, then get the ball wide......they were very nervy......

Still I can't see them staying up next season.......

I was already for a thumping...and no we were not that bad. They got the goal they craved, but we were the better team. Well done RRRs there are green shoots there.
Burnley will not stay up with this team, far too fragile and dependant on Gray and Vogts.
No midfield and not much of a defence except the keeper.

Saw more hope for us than them next season

Classic quote from Mr. Cotterill speaking about the non free-kick that led to the goal "it's the sort of free-kick you get in front of your home fans at home"

We weren't bad at all. I don't think Burnley will be too worried about their future either - even if it does look ominous for them in the Prem. on the basis of that performance. At least they won't be chucking it away on a few mates to whom they owe a favour. Much will depend on whether we buy wisely and build on some of the talented youngsters we've got.

We had all the chances and but for the thickness of a post we would have had a well deserved draw. This board really lacks a bit of perspective at times. JFH shouldn't have taken the Polt off though.

Thing is he keeps getting it wrong.
Phillips should have gone off instead of Hoilett.
Polter should have stayed on with Washington and we should have gone for it with 4-4-2 instead of sticking Washington up top on his own.
