Half and half scarves

Like seriously, who the **** invented these things?
Stupid ****ing idea and who the hell wants to wave a scarf that is half your team and half someone elses team.
WTF?
Why wouldn't you just wave YOUR team's scarf?

Is there some symbolism behind this that I am missing?
You can say its to mark the occasion, but scarves are to be worn, I think a programme would be more suited to mark the occasion.

If I may I will borrow a saying from GC. Half and half scarves are for "****s and *****'s". Not my words mind.

 

If you saw 2 guys making out, dressed in rainbow leotards, while Abba was playing in the background, that would be less 'gay' then half and half scarfs.
