I tell you what lads. If My Tent or Yours doesn't absolutely kick Vroum Vroum Mag into touch tomorrow (on the snaff) over this trip he'd want to be campaigning him for Crufts not Cheltenham next year <laugh>

Marito 5/1 Punchestown 7.45 - Ran a fine race at the Cheltenham festival losing out by a neck to the hot fave once more today, On The Fringe. Marito was a very useful chaser, rated in the low 150's at one stage, the now 10 year old has being mixing it among Points and hunter chases most recently and running some cracking races, easily landing two PTP's at Kirkinstown and Loughanmore before bumping Into Aupcharlie who also runs today. Ground is ideal, trip too and I hope he can land this as he will be that bit fresher than most. 5/1 is very fair.

Paint the Clouds will love the ground and is sure to go well, along with usual suspects On The Fringe, Aupcharlie and Salsify.

Marlbrook 6/1 Punchestown 4.20 - fast improving chaser this season for Colm Murphy, this JP McManus owned horse could be still ahead of the assessor as the winning style in his two latest victories have been accomplished with the minimum of fuss, not extended and just kept up to his work, visually looking as if he had loads left In reserve. Deliberately held back for Punchestown, he today races off 143, a 9 lb rise for his latest victory. Admittedly he hasn't beaten superstars, but he has won well enough to suggest this mark is within his range and those he beat have been most progressive also at a lower level. A good positive ride on the front end by Bazza and I'm sure he will be there lepping the last with a chance.

On another note I see Emily Gray has switched hands bought and trained by the owner (not one I know a lot about so any info would be appreciated eg. Other horses ) sad for Kim to loose a good mare like her

We already had one "ridiculous " bumper gamble landed at the meeting this week and this one is brewing up for another!

Phil's Magic 4.20 He was a useful novice hurdler finishing second to Max Dynamite and Sizing John on his first two starts. He won his next two. His first attempt at chasing is best ignored as he ran loose beforehand. He ran well for a long way behind Shaneshill on his second start. He carries a handy weight of 10st 6 with Jack Kennedy taking off a further three pounds. He has had a break since finishing third to Killultagh Vic on his last run and has each way claims at 14/1

Interesting to see Jer's Girl pitched into the Champion Novice Hurdle over 2m 4f. She scooted up at Fairy house on her first try at this trip and her head defeat to Apple's Jade over Christmas now reads very well. Crucially she is getting a whopping 18lbs from the others today as a 4YO filly and we might well find out why JP has bought her.

Betting patterns TC. The horse that beat JENKINS had no right to really but was backed from the moment prices went up and this one is similar. Backed at big prices yesterday evening and still being shortened this morning. Fourth best backed horse in the race which has to be odd for a 50-1 shot!

Fahey's three all look to have a good chance at Musselburgh win Patent singles and a treble on them

My Tent is too big at 2/1. That's very fair based on what we've seen. VVM needs further. He should have too much for her and the rest of the field.

    No Comment in the bumper.

    MTOY 2/1
    No Comment 7/2

Then that's it. See you when the jumps starts again.

Couldn't back her Wooly, she's miles to find on form, especially on a trip too sharp. My Tent really should be doing a demilition job, but he's a soft rogue of a thing as we know. Really hope the mare wins, can't really see it, think she'd a won yesterday's 3m race. On form it looks it anyway.

Can't believe there aiming her here, brave call from them. Don't think many of us forseen this when they pulled her out of Sandown!
