Good Morning Everyone,
Former Brighton & Hove Albion and Celtic player Adam Virgo (wasn't he a snooker player?) has taken to social media to tell the world that he thinks Steve Evans would make a great Manager for Peterborough.
Well, so would Pep Guardiola, but guess what?
You ain't getting either...
Thoughts?
Meanwhile, Evans has been speaking to the Express about what he would do if he was sacked. This is what he said:-
“I don’t think annoyance will come into it. Shedding tears would, disappointment would. This is a special club and I love being a part of it. You are very lucky to be associated with it.”
“I won’t have to chase the president – we have a good relationship, we have a difference of opinion which is normal. I have made it clear I want to be here but I won’t stay not wanted. You have to be wanted.”
Leeds United have reported that season ticket sales have gone well in the first week of sales after offering a unique refund if the club failed to reach the play-offs.
Leeds have stated that season tickets sales are double the amount they sold in the first week of sale ahead of this season.
As well as freezing season ticket prices for a third season in a row, Leeds offered fans a minimum 25% refund if the club failed to reach the play-offs if season tickets were purchased before the end of May.
If season ticket sales surpass 15,000 then they will refund 50% of the net season ticket price if they fail to reach the play-offs.
We heard yesterday that teenage sensation Bailey Peacock-Farrell was yesterday offered a new two year deal with the club. What we didn't know if that the youngster (who is being scouted by a number of Premier League clubs) will become a free agent this Summer
Yes folks, one of our brightest prospects will be out of contract in a few weeks!!!
Why have the club left it to now to offer him a contract, and why only a two year one?
Even if Bailey signs a two year contract, we will be in exactly the same position (this time next year) that we were in earlier this season with Sam Byram!
Thoughts?
