As in the Uno rules, I will lay a house rules wildcard that says "Give ten thank yous to the next player" and I'll pick blue as the next colour.

Monday 24th April is Anzac Day.
We pay our respects to the mem & women who served in the armed forces from Australia and New Zealand for their efforts and to those who never made it home.
On a personal note, I'd like to acknowledge all those who flew with Bomber Command, including my father,
( rear gunner ), who flew 34 operations out of East Kirkby in 1944.
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
We will remember them.

Hello Sans, Was your grandfather aircrew in WW2 ?
As a Bomber Command researcher, I'd be very interested to know more about him.
From my knowledge, most, if not all aircrew who were looking to become pilot ( everyone wanted to be a pilot ) including my father, were tested on
Tiger Moths. Dad was coming in to land one day and the wind swung around to behind him ............... he couldn't stop and nearly put it into a stone wall!
He requested to other end of the aircraft after that!
Wasn't much better, infact a rear gunner in any of the bombers was regarded as the worse job.
Temperatures dropping to minus 40 degrees ( no heating and open glass canopy turret )............... icicles formed on eyebrows, etc.
Many gunners were simply hosed out from their turrets, not for the faint hearted.
