ilori was 7mil can was a buy that was reasonably expected as a CL player to play for us Ilori, aspas and alberto were all risks.. Shelvey and gomzy both were 3-4 mil so IMO 5mil for alli was not a big amount but someone at lfc screwed the pooch big time. when the player is literally driven by his manager to your gates and heavily reocmmended and you take no action while other big clubs are sniffing about... well you were alseep

He wasn't on 30k til this january. He was on 10k according to MITO. Not sure he's guaranteed game time? They might have said verbally to him but i doubt it's in the contract. If it is, sources please. With respect to if he was ****, that is all ifs buts and maybes, the reality is he is a good player at the moment with bundles of potential. At the very worse, he's helped spurs to a league position of 2nd and Spurs could probably sell him for +25m to make a profit.
as it was before he was brought it was a gamble that has benefited spurs. if he was so good how come chelsea never went for him? as he fits your business model perfectly ie de bruyne.
Unfortunately we didn't go for him. You could also say chelsea selling De Bruyne at the time was a good deal or us buying Torres was a good deal at the time. That's just wishful thinking as both deals were terrible in hindsight. Unfortunately for you guys Alli was the one who got away even though he was so close to signing for you guys. Sorry, but can someone show me where it said he had to play lots of games in the first team as part of his contract? That's just ridiculous for someone coming from MK Dons to ask. What if he's playing **** - what he can't be dropped because his contract says so? Pictures or GTFO. If I'm wrong then football is even more insane than I thought!
