Mikel is our legend, who helped to keep you out of top 4 atm & likely permanently as well <whistle>
Hiddink certainly rates Mikel highly. Always selected when available to play. Maybe that's why Chelsea have become mid table cannon fodder and the ****test defending champions in the history of the PL. Something to be proud of there StanD!

unfortunately I have to agree with you.
Poorest champions is a shame and credit to Jose, Mikel, Emenalo & few others.

I was expecting full strength available as we need to fend off Utd for the CL spots
Nothing game for both of us really so I wasn't surprised to be sat in a half empty top tier at £54 a ticket, people just can't afford it

.....bargain !!!!!!! It was £64 per ticket in the East Stand Upper and it was packed to the rafters. A lot of money, and I'm sure I remember only paying about £3 during the mid 1980s to watch Chelsea v Man City from the terraces.

You're right. About 3 quid and pay on the gate. Those were the days. <ok>

I feel sorry for the young lads with today's admission prices. However, they do get to see some world class players playing for Chelsea and for the Premiership opposition these days.

Yeah true. The football is watered down though. There is no tackling now, it's not allowed.

McCreadie tackles Bremner - that would probably be a red card plus a 7 match ban these days. However, it was the 1970s and the ref didn't even stop play.......

It was interesting that the score reflected the fixture in Manchester, a win by three goals each time. But I feel Chelsea should be more worried by the defeat at lowly Swansea who were thrashed by lowly Newcastle. If Swansea can beat Chelsea then anyone can.

Arsenal can't!!

They're 16 points ahead of you Bluey.

They're not even too good for Stoke who got spanked 4-0. Despite that they're still above chavbus.

I think the more appropriate thing for Blueman to say is "As **** as Chelsea have been, they are even ****tier than we could possibly have imagined."
