Couldn't give a **** about this game, it's a dead rubber for us, and I hope he rests the entire first team, to ensure none of your ****s can snide us before the game that will define our season.

I think your season has already been defined and as a result he'll go regardless.

Tobes if we can agree a 2-0 to lfc result right now and call the game off I'd be most happy.

Do you think martinez would agree.

Like I'd wish you all the best in the cup but you've such a habit of rolling over to utd for a belly scratch that I just can't see you winning it.

Can't see us turning up for this one tbh...I can see us having a battering unfortunately<yikes>

Then ****e tactics etc will put us out of the cup the weekend...(cheers brown shoes)

I'm still optimistic for the future though new manager (hopefully) bigger budget than normal <cheers>

You reckon they'll allow the manager to spend all the money they get form the Lukaku & Barkley sales then?

Anything can happen in a derby. Would be a tribute to random fate if, as it turns out, that it's Bobby's last derby and you win at Anfield for the first time in years. But we need the points more than you do, for sure.

I'm saying another draw : 1-1.

That said, I hope Jurgen puts the best side available out on Wednesday, and isn't putting them in cotton wool until the Villarreal game. We need to finish in the top sixth and, as others have mentioned, even the top players need game time and the experience of winning games. There's a feeling that in '07 Rafa ****ed up by cementing 4th place then putting the team out in Athens when half of them had been rested for two weeks before the game. That doesn't work.

Poor attempt at being your hero Astro there no mention of stones....<laugh>

Cos no one will pay for Stones if they've watched him over the last 6 months <whistle>

Barkley won't go anyway, but I'd imagine Lukaku will probably be off in summer. The way he's been talking about CL football if a CL team come in for him I think he'll been pushing EFC to sell.

On the subject of 'resting' players, I remember reading that in major tournaments (world cup, euros etc.) when people rest their players for the third group game if they are already through they are more likely to lose in the knock-out rounds.
