I hear he was available for less than £20m a couple of years ago.

What a signing that was <ok>

De Bruyne and Lukaku and they'd be quite a handful.

Mikel and Pato are their level.

Just watched City hammer Chelsea, albeit the MOTD highlights.
Then compare that to us struggling past relegated Villa at home.

Why are we even discussing fourth? We're utterly ****ing pathetic.

Anyone just see that? Leicester's first goal?

That's how you play football boys, like that.

    We're embarrassing by comparison.

And that's probably the most ridiculous sending off I've seen, which takes some saying.

    He's a ****ing cheat.

He then gives a penalty to West Ham for what was an actual dive. He seemed determined that Leicester lose, it's mental they have these ****ers in charge of football matches which could determine where the league title ends up.

Makes a mockery of the whole thing.

Maybe it's not up to him. He could've been directed to. Skysports viewers need a thrilling end to the season after all.

Just like F1. Louis breezes to the championship one year, audience figures fall off at viewers think the sport too predictable - so 2016 begins with Louis 'suffering' all manner of problems so the championship appears wide open.

It happens too often that you seriously have to question those in charge of the game. Every other team sport has a way to review calls to limit the errors from subjectivity. But football is stuck in the dark ages in the name of "we love the game because of the drama".

What a piss poor game Arsenal v Palace is, nearly an hour in and not one player has done enough to break sweat yet. I can understand it from Palace, they have a cup semi to save themselves for but there is no excuse for Arsenal.
No passion, no effort, no quality, just 22 men strolling around a field.

It is quite strange to pay a visit to the Arse match-day thread for today to see how much venom and hatred some fans have towards Wenger - they seem to want rid of him as much as we want LvG out. I wonder who they might rep[lace him with?

I'd let them have LvG and the can keep Wenger too - win double for us. Failing that would they try Blanc - difficult to know who might be the 'Arsenal' type these days

That's the problem I guess. Wenger is a dinosaur at the club - they all think if he leaves they'll be great.

We know that's not always the case <whistle>
