I was listening to the ex Leyton Orient chairman on talksport Drive the other evening. getting more and more angry as he went on. I cannot understand how this has been allowed to happen. Like he said. It's a massive massive unfair advantage to West Ham, when clubs like Arsenal have had to finance a stadium themselves to have had to work on a tight budget in the transfer market. Also the fact it's tax payers money, on a venue that was suppose to be for the people. Why the f*ck are we paying for West Ham to have a brand new stadium for pretty much free!I see Wet Sham have negotiated themselves an outstanding deal for moving to the Olympic Stadium. The Olympic Stadium bosses, the London Legacy Development Corporation should be ashamed of themselves -
The Hammers will pay £2.5m rent annually but will not have to fund police, stewarding, heating, pitch maintenance, or even corner flags.
They have only paid £15m towards the £272m costs of transforming the stadium into a football venue.

Am I right in thinking they're just effectively renting the place for match days so no ownership etc?
It's not.Yes HQMC - you're spot on, so it's like the taxpayer giving them a much bigger transfer/wages budget.
I mean the police and traffic control for Carrow Road budget on match days must run be several thousand each home game, never mind the heating, lighting etc etc etc!!! How can that be fair?????

City get Real Madrid in the Semis! Tough draw!
Haha!Is this a premonition after we storm the PL next season?
