Beware Villareal! Super super result tonight and they have a much better defence than Dortmund. I hope you get Sevilla in the semi ... they are beatable as Shaktar are an unknown quantity. From my perspective it would be good to see two teams that have slogged their way through the group stages of the EL to reach the final rather than a team that has dropped out of the CL. Let's hope the draw can keep Liverpool and Villareal apart and you have to play Sevilla. Great place to visit by the way!!!

Jeeeez... so I am perennial lurker on this site, but there are times when you need to be part of history.
I just watched the game with a previously unknown scouser, Tony, in a bar in Greenwich Village, NYC, with such high hopes, dashed within the first 10 minutes. We'd both lived through Istanbul, but just couldn't bring ourselves to believe that it could happen again, so we chose to drink ourselves stupid instead. The second half had a surreal quality to it as we ended up being so totally pissed by 70 minutes.
After the game we both ended up dancing in the bar with the lovely Lisa behind the bar to the sounds of American Pie at full blast. It was Lisa who kept telling to never give up on 'the Liverpool.' [HASHTAG]#betterthanistanbulalthoughimightbepissed[/HASHTAG]. GKRK
