its a long shot but us Mackems are spread far and wide.

If you're in the Brooks Alberta area tomorrow Two Sergeants Brewing will have a booth at the beer festival. Come on and taste some real beer and meet the lunatics who thought starting a brewery was a good idea.
If I was in that area I'd definitely have a taste - good luck with it mate <ale>

Starting to warm up here but it will only get up to about 32C as the summer kicks in and it's a dry heat. No humidity out here. Although with the amount of travelling I do it doesn't matter that much, ****ing body clock is totally screwed up. Haha.

Whats the strongest and weakest beers?
Which sell best?
Many women beer drinkers?
Have you extended the food menu?
Most importantly, are you making a profit?

I know, im a nebby twat.

Haha, I love your interest and especially your enthusiasm for the pub and brewery.

Of our 3 beers the Belgian Wit I'd the weakest at 5.2% alc. Our strongest is our IPA at 7 2%. The Belgian Wit and our English Special Bitter (6.8%) are our best sellers.

We get quite a lot of women in the pub and they love the Wit.

Expanded the food to include Leek Stew and also Chilli.

As we only started brewing on the new equipment last month we won't see our profits go up until we can get the product sold. But so far we are breaking even and now we are brewing more and more it will just get better. Lots of other pubs reaching out for kegs of our beer so all good mate.

Thats brilliant mate.

I have a genuine interest in this, i love a beer, i love a sucess story, i love the fact a mackem 1000s of miles from home has the balls to give it a go.
I really want this to work out big time.

Leek Stew mate, beef, catrots, turnips, par snips anD leeks. It's awesome and my own recipe. The punters love it with a fresh bread roll.

So it is. I misread it. Ok that sounds much better.

So are you gonna sell all your brews at this festival?

Mind do a canny trade, and gain some new punters.

Fingers crossed
