Liverpool are well and truely stuffed, look like signing him a decent strike partner aswell.

Been rejected mate. LFC "expect him to honour the commitment he made to club and supporters when he signed long term contract"

Wow didn't see that coming. Chelsea seems a bad option for me as well, him and Suarez would have been unreal. I wouldn't be suprised if Kenny talks him around.

I hope he stays with the horrible cheating bastards and they lose all their remaining games.

Apparently the reason why he's leaving is because of lfc's ambitions. I thought the Suarez deal would have been enough for him. Liverpool fans maybe upset at him handing in a transfer request but players just want to better themselves, and earn more money, and win trophies, which is what he'd do at Chelsea. I can't see Liverpool winning anything any time soon apart from maybe the johnstone's paint trophy...

yeah he'll go, somehow cant see it being to chelsea though, liverpool have every right to keep him but they could invest the money elsewhere, hes been totally off form for 9 months now.

Dzeko would have been a good replacement. What about Forlan? Then they can have the Uraguay strikeforce.

Nobody says he wants to go to Chelsea specifically, they're just the ones to have put in a bid. He could just as easily be aware of interest back in Spain or in Italy and is trying to encourage a bid.

What'll be funny now is if Suarez sees that Torres wants out and decides he doesn't want to join a club in turmoil like that.

Too right.... Torres has been awful so far this whole season - selfish play & attacks always seeming to break down when he gets the ball.

It's good riddance - LFC much better off without him. Only one problem though.... I doubt anyone will pay big bucks for someone playing as badly as Torres has been.

On Form is there a more deadly finnisher in the world??? He is (on form) one of the best out and out strikers in the world. I think he will go... doesnt look happy a LFC.

Good point Madhog. At his current value, we can probably nab him for a song.
