He's from Bayern and he's German which means he must be instantly better.

He's worked quite a while at bayern then... given the state of sweinsteiger.. well... all we can say is its just one guy who should have a good rep but can't go do it all.

for me it seems lfc are quite fit at the moement compared to each side we've met. we've nt been run of the park for a while.

might do but in first leg it was not true.

    we matched them well.

given we rested several we should be in shape.

    Agreed..
They rested a few players too..
We need to be more controlled, braver on and with the ball, we gave it away far too cheap last week, do that again and we could get punished!
They're front 3 put a shift up top but likes of Reus and Martitikitakacarterian don't track back as much, so, could leave their FB (who also like to bomb forward) exposed, need to get out of the blocks fast, get at them and if on top early score...
Then, the more they come at us, the more we could hurt them on the counter, otherwise, if they get the first goal, they could murder on the counter too!

I agree we were nervy a bit and gave it away too easy in advanced areas.

We also played suicide possession at back so I think yes if their fornt players up the effort they can press us more and really hurt us. I felt they might have bottled the occasion of klopp back whereas we had no problem.

I think the more our front 5 press hard and make it hard for them the better. that where we can kill them.

Allen should help us keep the ball a lot more. He has his limitations but when he's on form, he recycles the ball and can help keep a tempo to our game. He won't give it away as much as Hendo/Milner/Can

Which is why I believe he'll start Origi over Sturridge and Lallana to get the nod too, both put a shift in..
Does he go 2-3-1 with Lallana, Coutinho and Firmino behind a striker..
Or does he go 3-3 with Can, Milner and Allen instead of Firmino?

Origi will DEFO start for me, for that very reason. He puts a top shift in. It's just whether he starts with two up top or not.

    I think it's a possibility, though I'm not sure who he'd leave out - La-la maybe.
We need to win - it would suicide playing for 0-0 and any other draw is no good. I'm not sure we can keep a clean sheet so we need goals. Sturridge is always likely to pop up with one.
Origi is better as the lone striker.

why would we change much... this seems a question of will allen replace henderson or will klopp change more or need to change more to compensate for him being out.

Can, coutinho, lallana, origi, allen moreno, clyne, lovern, sahko, mingolet are all 100% certainties in my mind. this purely in my mind is down to firmino in or milner. and i think milner will start.

#LFC have made £300,000 from Manchester City’s Champions League success due to clauses in the sale of Raheem Sterling. (Bascombe)
