He seems absolutely astonished that the rules of the game should apply them. What a ****ing arrogant prick!
 
My club went bust after spending money we did not have, to win trophies and sign players with money we could not afford. When we went bust we walked away from our debt and fully expected other clubs to let us carry on as if nothing had happened by allowing us to make a fresh start in the SPFL. Only bitterness and hatred stopped this from happening.


That's - in essence - is what he and Baz Ferguson, DJ, and many many others are proposing.

There were no rules in place ... The sfa spfl had to make knew ones up to deal with it

If it had been Celtic , you can bet that we would have been treated the same way and Celtic fans and ex players /managers would be acting exactly like rangers fans and ex rangers players /managers about it

It's pointless going on and on about it ... It's tedious and nothing's going to change.

We hopefully now have proper actual rules in place should it happen again ...

Yeah , it's stupid n arrogant but there is no way as ex players etc they are ever going to say something else

The rules gretna suffered under were not suffice?

Had we gone bust in the 90s there is no way we would have gotten an offer to start in the top league. But it doesn't matter if we would have because nobody should

It's corrupt

It makes your competition meaningless

Awarding a new club 50+ titles when gretna were pimped out and airdrie had to start again is corrupt and it will lead to apathy towards the game

I'm all for moving to England div 3 first chance we get, history intact or not

If you think this is corrupt it's lucky you're not Argentinian !

It's done ... Dusted ! There is **** all going to change , so I don't see what going on and on about it , whilst still watching the games and having them as our rivals , will achieve

There is no way the majority will be treating Sunday like it's Celtic v some new club... So it's pointless
 
I really don't give a damn what happened I just want 2 things:

1: People to stop telling everyone to "move on"
2: The people saying "move on" to stop calling people "bitter" or "haters"

Anyone not moving on is a bitter and deranged *****, that goes for anyone regardless of what team they support.

The ONLY selling point, the ONLY interest in our game outside of this backwater is the 'Old Firm' derby. The definition of 'hatred and bitterness' is being so short-sighted and hate filled that you want this fixture and its history consigned to the dustbin.

History will show that Rangers were victim of a criminal act when Minty was 'duped' by the Shyster and his only intention was to sink the Company and lose the debts.

We were the real victims, the fans.

Nevertheless, the fans have stood staunchly behind the team and we're going to reap the rewards next season when the Blue Juggernaut comes crashing into Lawell's cliche minus Stephen Thomson and Rod Petrie, both happily utilised pawns in Lawell's game of trying to kill off Rangers and the Presbyterian roots of Scottish society.

Like I've said, I'll wait to see how the club tackle what has happened, and what our intentions are.

I'll be ****ing gobsmacked if their attitude is "Oh well, nothing's going to change" if that was to be the case, i think i'd rather just leave it out.

"Mired in debt" FFS, take away the BTC and we had a debt which was more than manageable for a Club our size and much less than many other clubs with a similar staffing level.

Not a chance , when all the tarriers involved in all the other clubs seen the chance to stick the knife in they grabbed it.

It would never have happened to the biggest club in any of the other Euro countries , there was a bigoted catholic agenda thats how it happened nothing else.
