    Hi Guys,
Dont always contribute but love to have a daily ganders at the page. Just reflecting on how it used to be in the past.
There was always a bit of tittle tatter leaking out of the club and onto forums like this, for ages now there has been a change in culture and things are tighter than a submarine under water. Any chance of someone at the club leaking a bit of the juicy stuff for us to have a natter over. it doesn't matter if its fictional ( most of it usually was definitely no substance)? If not we are doomed over the closed season and I like answering or reading some of the observations of the many characters on here. Now you can believe this or not but there was a programme on the BBC about cross dressers and an event in Swansea called "Twinkle." Did anyone notice Fabio there? .....You heard it here first folks!!

I agree Aber. I look at their site on and off and they sometimes have an interesting discussion, But the Lesbos thread makes me lose the will to live!
On here, things are quiet between matches and life at the club seems to be slowly on the up, I reckon and there's not much controversial going on. In some ways, I miss JonHughes. He was a real dumb cluck but he could always spark a riot.
I suspect it doesn't help that Sparkey is away, as far as I recall.
My problem is that I can't think of anything controversial enough to start an argument.
Mind you...... I am beginning to think that Masky's posts about continuous sex with the fat neighbour are to hide the FACT that he is a closet gay.

I'm not away sausageman - I think it's Masky (Dom) that's probably gone off on another of his cruises. I'm still here and observing just a bit peeved at the lack of chat on here myself.

I've stuck threads up on here in the past to get things going but as you say, there seems to be very little happening at the club to be honest. Transfer and loan windows now shut, Slade's position obviously in abeyance until the season end, and the lack of any controversy makes for a dull chat site at the moment.

Never mind, it'll all come to life when we play Sheff Wed for that 6th playoff spot on the last day of April. All we've got to do is win the next three games to be in that position. <whistle>

Nothing to it Sparks. <yikes> <whistle>

The only bit of news I've seen is that Turner played for an hour in the development squad game on Monday and came through okay. Assuming we hang on to all of them we look pretty strong at centre back for next season.

Question for all: Who would you play up front v. QPR? Pilks if fully fit or Zohore?

Naaah!!! We'll be alive long before then! It just needs some controversy to get things going. Have a look at my supreme optimism thread!
Maybe we need some sort of competition thread too? Not sure what....... final positions? Final points? After all, The Blue Prophet thread gets lots of posts.
What about Taff giving us a far eastern view of things?

Turner's contract is up in the summer. Would you keep him? Suppose it depends on whether we sell Manga.

Also depends on the club's views on his ongoing and long term fitness. He has had a bad 2 years since his injury at Yeovil in a pre-season friendly.

I'm sure Coventry would welcome him back. If they could afford his wages. They have gone downhill dramatically since his injury there.

That Fulham reverse just about the final nail in our promotion coffin.
Might be a twist in the tail but can't see it.
So it's Villa & Burton next season then....

But Sunderland and Newcastle coming down and Wigan likely to come up plus one other?

It would be nice to have something more local.

Wigan is quite local for me. <laugh>

On the Turner topic, he's similar to Morrision so do we need both, especially if we're looking to play a bit more football. Also concerned by all his injuries. Done a good job for us, but possibly a time to move on for both parties.

I see City want to make Immers' move permanent. Any news on our umbongo as that would scupper it? Thought that when our accounts were published a month or two back it would be lifted.

I didnt make it saturday, however Ive not changed my opinion of our season...too hit and miss, not enough consistency and no back up plan, and Ive been saying this since around September. Never mind guys we can always dream of another near miss of glory even if we are no were near the required standard. All getting a bit tedious guys cant see much improvement next season unless we start to get people in who gel into the teamwork ethic and not the "gifted individuals" that we seem to attract, those who once given a good contract diminish into oblivion. Hope we can do a better in the coming seasons, and who knows if we continue to develop as we have come 17/18 season we may make a real impact?
