    Constcrepe.

    19>18 - %age = 5.5% better.

    5>3 - %age = 66.6% better

    66.6%>5.5%

    Arithmetic's cool.

Give him some credit. He's trying his best to convince himself that England's top club is Liverpool. Bless him.

You're actually both incorrect. 5 is 66.7% greater than 3 (to 1 dp). ie. if you take 3 and add two thirds to this, you will get 5. Edit your post at once!

    No it isn't <doh>

    40% of 3 is 1.2.

    3 + 1.2 = 4.2 NOT 5

    The correct answer is:

    5 - 3 = 2

    2/3 = 66.666%

    Next!

    Sorry mate but:

    3 is 100%
    5 is 166.6% of that
Ergo the difference from the Utd point of view is 66.7%.

Not entirely sure how any of that matters tho'. The difference is two.

    Right.

19 divided by 18 multiplied by 100 equals?

5 divided by 3 multiplied by 100 equals? (66.6% recurring. 67% if you want to round it up, pedant. I was being generous).

Oh and the knobehead who threw FA Cups in, do we do League Cups in as well?

    Some people
