Sad news indeed.

Been some very wide margin winners today, will we get a Dessie Scahill "and it's gonna be and head bobber" here then? I like Viconte Du Noyer too Reebok, nice profile. No bets though so good luck all who have <ok>

VDN mugged ... coming through to contest the lead. But nothing will change grrrr!

Taking a chance on Bells On Sunday 50/1 for the mares race here at Aintree. She won as she liked at Chepstow and could be anything as they say. Clutching at straws possibly but worth a few bob at the prices each way if the faves fail to deliver she can mop up some place money.

Lovely battling performance by Kayf Grace. Thought Augusta Kate was going to get it for a second up the straight...would have been apt given the golf this week also.

Didn't take the stewards long to nip the Katachenko enquiry in the bud. I felt the 3rd had a good case but it's easy all around just to keep it the same.

Cue Card didn't even finish at Cheltenham this year, so interns of exerting himself he didn't have a tough race so the difficulty of the race is irrelevant. As everyone keeps saying he was still on the bridle.

We all know what will happen at Punchestown, even you do, hence why the excuses are coming in anticipation.

We don't know, and neither do you, so cut the bullshit please.................

Speith at top of leaderboard already. Three under after nine holes. Surely can't win wire to wire again. Glad i got 9s as he's as low as 3-1 and the likes of Day and McIlroy are yet to start!

Bring it on at Punchestown, that's what I say. Don Cossack is a cert for that race, and it don't matter who turns up. He's better than Cue Card, Djakadam and Don Poli. And he's proven it already

I know should have seen it coming again. -5 and was 10/1 at the start <laugh>

And people still don't think Cue Card would have won the GC after today? Don Cossack is nowhere near his level, Cue Card is a ****ing tank, Cossacks a good stayer but doesn't have anywhere near Cue Cards speed
