I met a nurse in Watford General recently who said she and most of the other nurses left the NHS to work for a nursing agency, who the NHS need to use. It is a vicious circle that requires breaking quickly.
I have a sister who fairly recently qualified I have a sister who is a GP and another who is a senior staff nurse both working within the NHS. Not to mention several very good friends who are nurses of various different political persuasions. I trust their unanimous opinion. Which on the surface of it is diametrically opposed to yours.
i think most of us would back the people in the know against the people who think they know most of it (i was trying to be nice by not saying know it all LOL)
I'm sure if I worked in the NHS I may also have a view that financially benefitted myself. It is more relevant to take a view on what the country can actually afford.
How dare you? Of course the country can afford to pay the doctors/nurses/ambulance drivers a a fair wage, it can afford to bomb Syrians and give tax cuts to rich people.
This belongs on the politics thread. I've said all I will say on the matter. I shall contribute to the politics thread in my usual manner. Anyone got a meme to get this thread back on track, my kindle is limited? Or I haven't figured out how to use it properly!
The problem is posting political 'thoughts for today' on here. Politics should be solely for the political thread.
Its not what the country can afford its what that powers at the top want to pay or not .And we are only making comments on what we read and are told ?
If you keep practicing they will surely find you a job eventually. I might need somebody to dig some holes soon?
