Well... moreno thinks he is it anyway, shako thinks he is a warrior and can has a huge ego anyway. Being a big strong defender in the prem isn't that hard but getting higher technical performance requires just a bit more than just belief. There's not much more these guys can do. It's not like it's terrible. Just not effective at getting results.
He took him off against Saints though, because Lovren was being a wuss, and that was a disaster. He should have just told him to get a ****ing grip. Lovren has improved steadily under Klopp though, so I'm optimistic for his future.
We weren't very good. Better finishing and we win that regardless of performance. Wasn't impressed with Spurs at all. Just another example of a very average premier league this season. That Spurs team screams 5/6th but they're 2nd ffs.
Gundogan is out for Dortmund. We've a chance if we play ---------------------------Mig-----Bogdan Clyne---Flanagan--Lovren---Sakho---Skrtel---Moreno---Smith ------------------------------Milner -----------------------------Caulker
I was generally pissed off with Moreno as usual, how many times did he lose Son's runs behind him We desperately need a quality LB........... (how many times have I said this?)
It was a **** game really. Alot of frantic running about clattering each other without any real quality aside from a couple of moment. For all the raving during the week, Ali was poor. Perhaps too much football in one week for him or perhaps a lesson that he's still young and not to expect too much too soon. In fact Spurs were pretty poor for all the raving, frankly our defending was crap again, Sakho was a mess not helped by Moreno charging about. However if our finishing was better today we probably would have won. Sturridge, tried just before being taken off and then had then audacity to have a sulky look when being taken off. Credit today to two players we've been very critical of, Lovren who if it wasn't for their goal would have been Motm and Mignolet who didn't do much wrong at all today, even made some good saves.
Mingolet, with no offense to the knockers, was excellent today. He was technically sound in his role in what he had to do. Lovern was pretty good. Clyne was only decent. The thing we did do was keep going and working. I was disappointed we stopped passing it after we scored but the effort and fitness looks to be there.
I would add Lallana to that, he had a very good game and has looked the most improved over the last few weeks. Sturridge has gone back to how he was before Brendan (Suarez) got the best out of him.
I don't think he's that bad. I think he can get better. However not good enough for where we want to be.
That's right, a raiding left mid maybe but I do not want to see him at LB for the start of next season (Klopp must realise this)
Tell everyone he's a winger, show 'em a couple of youtube clips of him flying down the touchline- someone'll buy him. Just don't let him anywhere near an IQ test.
