QPR return to action following the recent international break with a home clash against Middlesbrough in the Sky Bet Championship tonight.

Rangers head into the fixture – which will be aired live on Sky Sports – buoyed by a decent run of form of late.

Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink’s side are currently 11th in the division, having only tasted defeat twice in the league since New Year’s Day.

The R’s have won four of their last five games at home, conceding just once.

For Middlesbrough, Friday evening sees the start of what could prove to be a pivotal month for Aitor Karanka’s side, with a return to the Premier League a distinct possibility for the Teessiders.

Indeed, Boro’ head to W12 in third place, one point off the automatic promotion places, with their 1-0 win at home to Hull City prior to the break cementing their push for promotion.

Yet despite their tilt at the title, the last few weeks have been clouded in controversy at the Riverside Stadium.

Karanka, who saw his Boro’ side go six points clear at the top on January 12th, missed their recent 2-0 defeat to Charlton having walked out of training over a row a few days earlier.

The Spaniard was thought to be considering his future at the Championship club, but has since returned to the fold, and was back in the dug-out to oversee their victory against the Tigers a fortnight ago.

Hasselbaink is likely to name a similar side to the one that drew 1-1 at Preston North End prior to the two-week break.

Junior Hoilett, Matt Phillips, Massimo Luongo and Conor Washington have all returned from international duty unscathed and are therefore available for selection.

For the visitors, defender Daniel Ayala could return following almost two months out with an ankle injury.

Excellent as always 999's......

Great photo of LR and the retro programme from 40 years ago, cost just 15p......

A birthday goal or 2 from the BFG wouldn't go amiss......

Great image of LR. So many memories.

I'll be completely honest and admit to having forgotten that we are playing tonight.

I have, however, now remembered. I think that's a good sign.

Yep, makes my result prediction a possibility.........honestly, what is the point of playing Mackie, Phillips and Hill (though I suppose there may be no alternative for him)?

Heading into Waterford shortly for a meet up but no pints as having to drive home later.....

He thinks them ( with A not I) the best available in their position full stop?
