....although you wouldn't know it from the lack of any discussion about it on here.....

So in advance of the Match Day thread, lets start some discussion here......

First up, what side to put out? Personally would like to see...
Smithies
Ned, Hall/Hill Angella, Pearch
Faulin, Henry
Washington, Chery, Hoilett
Polter

Only difference between Hall and Hill is one letter so either.....

Up the R's

Not bad Tramore, but a couple of minor adjustments:

Smithies
Ned, Hill Angella, Perch
Faulin, Luongo
Phillips, Chery, Hoilett
Polter

Not bad Totally, but a couple of minor adjustments:

Smithies
Ned, Hill Angella, Perch
Faulin, Luongo
Washington, Chery, Gladwin
Polter

Time to stop picking players who will not be around next season imo.

Not sure how Gladwin has been doing, Petrasso there instead, IMO. I agree about playing next season's players, but against Boro on the telly?

Agree that we need to take a look at some players ahead of next season

I'd like to see Luongo, Washington and Gladwin all start;

I'd go for a 4-4-2 Diamond;

Smithies
Onouha, Hall, Angella, Perch

Faurlin
Luongo Gladwin
Chery

Washington Polter

I'd start Henry instead of Luongo. You've got to have a solid midfield base against a team who are just one point off an automatic promotion place, and Faurlin alone would mean we'd be over-run, because the four other midfield/attackers are all forward-thinking. We definitely need someone to just sit, and Henry will do that all day long.

And especially when Luongo has travelled far. So has Hoillet, so I'd have Nasser instead of him.

Plus Luongo played for Australia on Monday so wouldn't have got back here until Wednesday if he was lucky.....bring him on around the 60 minute mark if necessary....

So Luongo is jet lagged, and Hoillet missed training and trained on his own...so expect both to be on the bench...especially with an away match on Tuesday to juggle in (so they will be avaiable for Tuesday).
Hill today Hall on Tuesday

So....
Smithies

Onouha, Hill, Angella, Perch

Faurlin Henry

Chery, Washington, Phillips
Polter

Too tired, still celebrating his goal

I read somewhere Hoillet also picked up a minor injury and was substituted in Canada''s last game.

Imo you can't play a diamond without attacking full backs. That team has none.
If Hoilett and Luongo are jet lagged/injured, I'd go for this:

----------Smithies---------
Ned---Angella--Hill--Perch
-------Henry--Faurlin------
Phillips-Chery--Washington
-----------Polter-----------
