I had an unfair advantage - I was there. Which place has the distinction of being the cloudiest in the world?
Cold Bay, a tiny community on the Alaska Peninsula in Aleutians East Borough. Cold Bay has an average of 304 overcast days a year, 83% of days, when cloud covers over three-quarters of the sky.
Close to where I'm thinking of - in number of cloudy days, but around 4500 miles away. At least people live there I suppose, which I can't say for my answer...
mmmm how about: "Ben Nevis in Scotland is the Cloudiest Place in the World as the percentage of Maximum possible sunshine is 16% and the average annual hours of sunshine a year is 736 hours"
I was at that. It was great playing against teams like Bury, Stockport, Workington... Happy memories. Going from memory was it 2-0?
If I'm right you've been delving into history here - we beat Leicester Fosse 2-1 on 1st April 1904 ! I suppose that this must be the only time we played them under that name ?
