Back down to a really handy mark and if the going isn't too quick you would definitely have to fancy his chances.

    4.10 Newbury - Close Touch - 13/2

First race back from a year off but is dropping back in distance to 2m, he has a good record going over this distance in hurdles. The come back doesn't worry me as he returned in 2014 from 22 months out to win over the fences and seems to thrive when he is fresh altho he has had his injury problems. He is a talented sort who has only raced the 9 times which is not very much at all for a 8yr old, he has won in soft, heavy and good So any ground will do but does act best on slightly softer so tomorrow's conditions should be perfect for him!

A few for me at lingers, 3.10 Bahamian sunrise not a lot of winners in this race at a price 16/1.boycie in the 3.45 for Hanson got a decent draw. In the 4.20 the veteran shalamber has a good record on the aw , could Nick this
    Cheers.

Moving house - how stressful, but so worth it.
Last time, I was in my thirties and on my own, moving from a flat to a small house. This time, I have a wife and 2 kids and a decades worth of life to bring with me.
How much rubbish do we never throw away?
So, it's done, and I feel like we've moved up a grade or 2, even for humble old Wirral; when the neighbours bring you a welcome card and bottle of champers, you know you've done the right thing.

I've missed a few days, so I'm prepared to make up for lost time.
    I've done a quick double with Hell's Kitchen ( Newbury, 1.50 ) and Here I Am ( Fontwell, 2.15 ) to warm things up.

A couple of more interesting one's later.
At Lingfield, 2.00, I'm prepared to give a chance to Mossgo. A great A/W performer whose best is over shorter, but got to be worth something at 14/1.
Over at Wetherby, 3.15, I think Karisma King has a good chance at a good price, since there are trip worries about the market leaders and a handicap debutant thrown in; this horse is proven at this trip, so a good chance, I think.

I'll take a look at Wolves and Dundalk while I eat my sarnies.

    Good Luck all !

Quit whingeing Simon, I spent the whole of Easter moving two businesses, staff and all the stock into a new Unit. Cannot begin to tell you the amount of things you need to have in place to keep everything moving with no downtime! You wouldnt believe the amount of "junk" a business collects!

There I was thinking that you and half of the other forum members had all jetted off to some luxury island with your winnings from Cheltnham as it was so quiet around here. Mind you think SBC must still be there :)

Don't fancy much today but in the 4.55 I'm going for an outsider in HEARTSONG 33/1. Has only ridden here twice before one of which was just over 4 years ago. Last time was over this C/D which resulted in a win. Has a good draw in stall 1 too. Just think 33/1 could be overpriced. Will throw in BUSH WARRIOR and NOBLE DEED for combi f/c and t/c.
