Bild are reporting we're after Monchengladbach central midfielder Mahmoud Dahoud - which will please the Daily Mail no end, given he was born in Syria...
Don't know why but when I first read his name, I sort of spoke it in a roadman slang accent in my head "Mahmoud in Da Hood".
I blame the drink and drugs. I did used to be a sane individual at one point, honestly.

As for a bit of transfer news, another Ajax lad is being linked with us - Anwar El Ghazi. He reminds very much of Chadli in terms of his technique and being a goal scoring wide man (20 goals in 50 games) but has a yard of pace over Nacer.

Who was it who suggested we make a move for Andre Green a few weeks back? Because he's been linked with us (as well as the usual suspects of Arsenal, City and Liverpool)
I remember replying to someone who mentioned what he'd cost us, took a great corner and had that excitement factor about him, even if it was only 20 minutes we got to see he looked a good player in the making.
