I was listening to this on the Durham & Gough show, on TalkShite, earlier. The natural assumption was that Gary Neville is too good to stay out of management for too long, and that he "deserves" to manage in the Prem!
Sorry? On what basis is that claim made? It was never explained.
He has very little experience at managing, and absolutely zero experience of managing in the Prem; and what little experience he does have at managing has ended in abject failure! This is a man who isn't fit to manage in the Championship, let alone the Prem! Why doesn't he cut his teeth at a non-league club and prove himself, working his way up the line, like every other English manager who has succeeded has had to do?
