West Brom containing Sess, Gardner and Mr. Poppy. What tricks or strange selections does SA have up his sleeve this time around? Will the mythical clean sheet be achieved? Will he persist with Rodwell?
What the **** is one of those? McClean will get himself sent off if you wind him up enough! The bloke is a prick and I'd like to see him carried off on a stretcher (he's on that list!) No silly free kick's around the area - they will hurt you with them - Gardner can hit a ball. They were awful against the mags and Norwich - no doubt they'll be fantastic against us!!
1. I think selection will be fairly standard. Just please god don't let N'Doye get on the pitch. 2. Call me crazy but I think it will. Judging on their performance against Norwich they're already on holiday having basically assured safety. And they've one of the lowest scorers in the league besides. 3. Rodwell will probably start and I think it's correct, if only for lack of options. Kirchhoff, M'Vila and Catts at home to West Brom would be far too defensive for my liking. Rodwell has a bit more about him going forward. Although personally I'd be tempted to play Khazri as out advanced CM with Borini and Lens on the wings, I can't see Sam going for it.
Got a sniper at the training ground. Well a kid with an air pistol - trying to make sure he has a knock before the game! Love the number 3 idea of Khazri, Borini and Lens as the three behind Defoe! Any of them capable in any of the three positions! This football management lark is easy! Besides - we can;t defend so let's make sure we score at least one more than the oppo!!
Yeah I think it could really work. Unfortunately I can't see Sam going for it this season with the position we're in, and reckon Lens will be off in the summer...
Can't play with 12 men, unfortunately fella. If we could though I'd play that team too, cracking balance.
Look at that team man ( 11 men now). I genuinely could see that team doing well (with a tweak here and there) over the course of a season.
Cant argue with that. Yedin the weak link, pva also at times. But the rest looks bloody good to me. Maybe to adventurous for SA.
Aye, think we'll see Catts or Rodwell in for lens, play Kirchoff just in front of the back 4 with catts/rod and M'Vila as CM scrapping the AM. I wouldn't though. I'm dying to get a creative player closer to Defoe.I think we've got the players to score more than we conceded against WBA. One thing is for certain, when we invite them on we conceded. Bout time we started defending from the front imo.
Vito Yedlin--Kone----Kaboul--PVA Kirchhoff---M'Vila Khazri-------Lens-------Borini Defoe Must admit I do like the look of that. Agree Yedlin & PVA are where the weak spots are. Next window priority mebbies
