Looks very much like an England B team.
The Dutch are sitting back and swamping the midfield against our 4-4-2.
I bet Barclay wishes he'd started in Saturday's team!

Drinkwater doing ok, especially as he is used to having Kante next to him.

There goes Sturridge, diving again. An embarrassment. Doubtless he'll be injured for the tournament.

****ing hell Rooney is on the panel. I had hoped that Lothar Mattheus was going to be permanent. Or even better, Ali Williams the All Black.

Looked good, though you'd be disappointed if your defence was as rooted to the spot as the Dutch were. Glad for Vardy, he's been truly thumped with the ugly stick, he deserves a break.

Excellent pass from Stones to start the move and very good from Lallana. He's an intelligent footballer imo.

He's been ok actually. If there's one thing he does know about it's football.

I don't share the seeming dislike of him on here. He is good with the ball in tight corners. Would be nice for him to starting scoring for England. Way ahead of Milner and Henderson, both of whom I reckon Klopp will dump in the summer.

I don't like this 4-4-2 though, even with a couple of mobile attackers.

Stones and Lallana have been terrible. One pair of good passes for the goal cannot disguise that. Dwelling on the ball far too long and then giving it away. Wouldn't expect Hoddle to say anything against his love child, but Lallana isn't as good as people make out, and Stones proves how poor he is even as I type...

Stones has got to learn not to over play.
His slip led up to the penalty.

Make some changes Roy and change this formation.

Your opinion.

I rate Lallana.

You get your wish. Clyne is our reserve left back? I thought he was ropey defensively against the Germans, but he's well ahead of Walker. At least Baines isn't involved. Who else is there that I'm forgetting?

You can tell it's a friendly, no wrestling at corners.

Gibbs.
He's on holiday apparently.
We've looked so much better since going 4-3-3

Ffs col, of course it's my opinion. I should know, I wrote it. Just because you disagree, doesn't make Lallana or Stones as good as you think.
But they are doubtless better than you think. It's a pleasure to see a defender who can play football in an England shirt. Of course he'll make mistakes but I'd rather see him cock up than Cahill or Jagielka cock up. It's not as if we are blessed with loads of ball playing centre backs.
