Euro / WC summers are always tricky. Want to get the business done pre-tournament but selling clubs will want to wait and hope good performances boost the prices but a few million.

Didn't have much choice... had to sell really. Whether we got £65m £75m or even £100m, doesn't make much difference as what we spent it on was pants anyway
 
meh, we ****ed our self over, nothing to do with luis or barca.

he left us in a great position, sadly we had a not great man in charge of spending that money who knew feck all about european football as well, and he couldn't attract defoe that alone a decent player.

besides sturridge and coutinho, who prob signed for the club not manager, who is the best player brendan managed to sign for us? i cant think of any.

Is this really fact?

Even if this was true , we didn't need to get mugged. Barcelona comes out of it like cute negotiators who rolled over some naive amateurs to get a bargain. Great feeling for the Spanish but not so good for us.
 
Well considering we also wanted Sanchez in return, we ****ed up completely. As has been said, we then proceeded to waste every penny. Thank God we now have Klopp, a manager where top players admire and will want to play for us

Irrespective of anything if its a case gotze who basically mugged off klopp wants us to believe he now wants to play for the man he must be deluded

Klopp himself pointed that once bayern triggered gotze's release clause and made him the most valuable german player ever at the time that gotze could have stayed but he wanted to play under Guardiola.

So the lad can't have it two ways.
Joyce can't tell us gotze want to play under klopp when he wanted to play under guardiola who's bascially mugged the player off now.


Irresective he's 20 times better than what we have but.... little merc.
