  1. Hardly. I've been a very busy man. Unlike you, Pixie, I have an interesting life outside of this forum.

He should start with the corners and build from there.

  5. West Ham are set for £1bn income as their move to the Olympic Stadium begins to pay off in financial terms. (Express)

Only if they can get the stadium to around half-capacity. To do that, they're going to have to practically give the season tickets away to anyone with so much as a limp or a lisp. How the **** is that going to raise £1 billion? It's a pipe-dream, nothing more.

... why are you so concerned about people going to watch live games? ... well out of your comfort zone surely?

  8. Quite right, it is. You did the correct thing to pull me up on it, too.

  9. United striker Marcus Rashford, 18, is not allowed to change in the first-team dressing room at the club's training ground. (People)

    This is an utter disgrace!

No wonder young talent deserts United, these days, like rats deserting a sinking ship.

Young Rashford wants to come to a team where the virtues of youth and talent are nurtured, and he wants to put his trust in the hands of a manager who is almost single-handedly responsible for building the best England side since 1966.

I think you're stretching the cedentials of Hodgson a bit far there HIAG.

As for United's youth. Well we've given 16 of them the opportunity of 1st team football over the last 18 months. Rashford is just the latest in a long line

  11. Trebs, the problem, I suspect, with United, is that it is all hemmed in with a whole load of traditional "doff your cap, son, that's Bobby Charltan taking a **** on the bog, lad!" bollocks! Rashford not being able to change in the "senior" changing room, despite the fact that he is United's best player by a long chalk. If I was him, I'd strutt into that ****ing changing room and dare the first bastard to tell me to get out. And if that "first person" happened to be Sir Bobby or Sir Alex, or any number of other jumped-up assholes who expect me to doff my cap because of some out-moded and out-dated nod to tradition, I'd have my transfer request on the chairman's table by the end of the day.

That is merely one of the many, many reasons your club is going down the pan.

    Questions...

    Who is Bobby Charltan?

Why are Bobby Charltan and Sir Alex in the "senior" changing room?

Why would you wear a cap in the "senior" changing room?

  13. Exactly! You've summed it up, Stan.

From wrack to fcuking ruin, I tell you!

It's very traditional at United, HIAG. You'll find it's the same at all the big clubs... like United, Juve, Barca etc.

I dare say when Spurs become a big club with some tradition... ideally with a manager who's lasted long enough or a player who's considered a living legend, you'll appreciate it that much more

  16. Yes, that's me told. It completely invalidates the point I've just made.

    Thanks, Trebs, for correcting me.
