According to The Times this morning, the following European citizens would no longer have automatic right to play for us. If we left the EU and wanted them to play for us we would have to appeal. This would affect

Martial
Januzaj
Herrera
Schneiderlin
Fosu-Mensah

Could lead to problems..

Under the present EU legislation all EU citizens have the right to live temporarily or permanently in any other EU country and to work also . Those arrangements will stay in force whatever the outcome of the in/out referendum. Any changes brought about by any Brexit will only apply to new EU applicants wanting to work or reside in the UK - and so any EU player currently living in and playing their football in the UK will be completely unaffected by the forthcoming referendum result.

The exact same will be true for UK players (such as Bale) currently playing in other EU countries. For players coming into the UK from non EU countries the requirements for residence visas and work permits will remain unchanged.
